Student at Cortiva Institute (Formerly Texas Center for Massage Therapy)
I have always been a person that is sensitive to the pain of others. I learned in my mid 20's that massage therapy has the ability to increase quality of life, and that was something I desired to provide for all that wanted it. Working towards my license as a Massage Therapist has been the realization of that goal. Like many people, I had a dream, but for many years I lacked the time or the financial freedom to make that dream a reality. This is one of the reasons I do not plan to have a set price for any of the services I provide. I have a primary source of income which will allow me the freedom to help those that possibly could not afford to see a massage therapist on a regular basis.
I also want to help the psoriatic community. I was diagnosed with severe plague psoriasis at the age of seven. I know very well how much stress can cause a flare and the flare causes more stress. It's a vicious cycle. Many in the psoriatic community are very embarrassed by their body and I want them to know that I understand the struggle and I want to help.
